2023 Renewal

NOTE: All 2023 renewals are now considered late **unless postmarked 12/31/22 or earlier.** An additional $50 late fee will be applied to each renewal completed after 1/1/2023.

Is your surety bond up to date? Did you earn all of the proper continuing education credit? Don’t wait until the last minute to renew your license! If you procrastinate, you may run into an issue and could end up having to pay the late fee, or worse, be required to reinstate your license. Renew NOW to save those headaches and money!

All North Carolina irrigation licenses expire on December 31, 2022. If you do not renew by December 31, 2022, your license will be revoked and you will be unable to perform irrigation services (per NC Gen. Stat. § 89G).

To renew your license for 2023, you must log in to your NCICLB account. You are required to earn and report 10 continuing education credits, 6 irrigation/4 business, to become eligible to renew (see instructions on recording CE below).

The $100 license renewal fee may be paid by MasterCard, Visa, or by check. Discover and AmericanExpress are NOT accepted. If you choose to pay by check, please mail the $100 renewal fee to the Board post office box, address found below. The envelope must be postmarked by December 31, 2022 in order to avoid the $50.00 late fee. When renewing by credit card, payment will process immediately and you will receive an email confirmation with a receipt.

For those of you with a corporate license, do not forget you must also renew your corporate license by December 31, 2022. In order to renew your corporate license, you will need to log out of your individual account and log in to your corporate account. Again, you may pay the $100 corporate renewal fee by MasterCard, Visa, or by sending a check. *Individual licenses must be renewed prior to corporate license renewal*
